The Reno Hilton is now Grand Sierra Resort.

The Grand Sierra is located a few miles southeast of the downtown casino center, but very
close to US 395, which is an expressway that connects with I-80 just north of the casino.
It is also not far from the airport and Sparks, and an easy drive to the Reno / Sparks Convention Center.
Although it is away from the other casinos, you probably won't miss anything because the
Grand Sierra is a huge resort with every service you can imagine.
For example, besides the enormous casino, there are nine places to eat, entertainment including
live music in the lounges as well as big shows, nearly 20 shops, a spa and health club,
and recreational facilities ranging from bowling and golf to thrill rides and an arcade for
the kids.

Grand Sierra Resort Hotel -
This is Reno's largest hotel with nearly 2000 rooms. Room rates, for standard
rooms, typically range from $49 to $109, with the highest rates during holiday
weekends. Rooms are large (425 square feet minimum) and of high quality.
Standard amenities include a hair dryer, clock radio, iron and board, writing desk, pay-per-view movies,
and internet ports.
This is definitely a full service, full feature hotel casino. There is a spa and health club,
outdoor swimming pool,
business and convention facilities (200,000 square feet), plenty of bars and lounges, a shopping center, a game room,
and you can even get married in their wedding chapel.
There is ample free parking, and the resort runs a free airport shuttle. There is also an rv park with 178 pads.

Entertainment and Recreation @ The Grand Sierra -
The Grand Sierra's entertainment ranges from relaxing bars and lounges with live music, to headline
acts. There is also plenty of on-site recreational opportunities geared towards golf enthusiasts,
thrill seekers, shoppers, bowlers, children, and campers.
Grand Theatre - hosts headline entertainers and shows.
Crystal Lounge located on Restaurant Row, features live music.
Other bars include the Pylon Bar, which has an aviation theme, the Escalator Bar, which is
next to the escalators, and Reserve, which offers 80 wines by the glass.
Nikki Beach Poolside - Grand Sierra has transformed the pool into a hotspot with a beach, cabanas, poolside drink and snack service, plus live
entertainment and events.
Spa health Club - services include massages, facials, aromatherapy, body wraps, exercise equipment, saunas, steam rooms, whirlpool tubs, and more.
Golf: Hilton Bay aquarange is a golf driving range facing a large pond in which
there are four greens. The resort also has indoor simulated golfing and a miniature golf course.
Bowling - they have a 50-lane bowling alley with a pro shop and professional instruction, cocktail lounge, and a snack bar.
Thrill Park - if the slots and tables are not enough for you, the Grand Sierra also has a thrill park with
go-karts (3 tracks), and two bungee jumping-like thrill rides (the Ultimate Rush, and the Sling-Shot).
Waterpark - opening 2009.
Shopping at the Grand Sierra - they have nearly 20 shops (of all sorts).
Fun Quest, which is 40,000 square feet of arcade games, laser tag
action, simulated roller coaster, and other fun stuff.
Camping - out back there is a 178 space rv park, with laundry facilities, a dog walk area, and comfort stations.
Wedding Chapel - accomodates up to 100 guests and offers a full array of services.

Grand Sierra Casino -
The casino is large (100,000 square feet) and rather quiet with soft background music.
In fact, it claims to be the largest casino is northern Nevada. You will find all of the
popular slot and table games (about 70 tables) at the Hilton.
Race and Sports Book is large and has comfortable seating and 27 big screen, high definition
monitors, plus one super-sized 12'
monitor, and 100 individual desks with personal tv's. Johnny Rockets and the Pylon Bar overlook the sports and race book.
The casino also has a Poker Room and a Keno Lounge.
Grand Sierra Resort Dining Guide -
The dining choices include some chain restaurant outlets plus the resort's own eateries.
Most are located in one area off the casino floor known as Restaurant Row, so it is easy to browse the menu and atmosphere
of each place before sitting down.
- Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante - high end Italian cuisine with glamorous Hollywood ambiance with a cellar of thousands of fine wines.
- Johnny Rockets is perhaps the best hamburger joint in the free world (according to our reviewer).
Located next to the sports book, Johnny's is done up in the decor of a classic 50s diner.
- Charlie Parmer Steakhouse has expensive meat, lamb, roasted duck, fish
and seafood, plus an extensive wine list.
- Charlie Parmer's Fin Fish - fresh seafood flown in daily, plus a chowder station and an oyster bar.
- Cafe Sierra is a 24 hour coffee shop with all of the usual fare (breakfast stuff, sandwiches,
and a variety of entrees such as chicken fried steak, filet mignon, and shrimp scampi).
- Round Table Pizza is a chain of restaurants serving pizza and other Italian dishes
in a relaxed family atmosphere.
- The Lodge is the Grand Sierra's buffet, which features a number of cooking stations such as
the pasta station, Mexican station, seafood, the international station, and a make-your-own sundae station.
- Port of Subs has made-to-order submarine sandwiches, fresh salads, and breakfast sandwiches.
- Starbucks - coffee, tea, and sweets.
