Atlantis Casino is a tropically-themed resort with an outstanding combination of atmosphere,
value, quality, and excitement that draws both locals and tourists, and
consistently wins it 'best-of' awards from local and national publications. Atlantis' gaming
promotions, luxury hotel, dining specials, and entertainment keep things fresh and
exciting for newcomers and long-time patrons alike.
Atlantis is located south of downtown at 3800 South Virginia Street in an
area with many restaurants and several shopping malls. The resort is across the street from the
Reno / Sparks Convention Center, about three miles south of downtown, and not far from the airport.

The Atlantis has 1,000 hotel rooms and suites in three towers plus a motor lodge. There are
two swimming pools (one indoor and one outside), plus a health spa, a business center, a family
fun center, and a sun deck. Standard room amenities include an iron and board, hair dryer,
data ports, pay per view movies, and in-room keno.
The Atlantis features Reno's only Concierge Hotel Tower. These rooms, on the top
seven floors of the tower, are 20% larger than other rooms (450 sq feet) and they include such
amenities as terry-cloth robes, oversized bathtubs, personalized butler
service, VIP check-in, express glass elevator, and more. The 26th and 27th floors of the Concierge Tower are home to the luxuriously appointed Grand
Penthouse Suites, which measure 2,000 to 4,000 square feet.
The next level down from the Concierge Tower rooms are the Luxury Tower, the Atrium Tower, and the Royal Dolphin Tower rooms, which come
in a choice of king or queen beds, smoking or non-smoking, higher or lower floors, etc. They measure 375 square feet with tropical or mahogany
furnishings and marble accents.
The Motor Lodge is a two story building with budget rooms (236 sq feet). The Motor Lodge is pet friendly.
The Atlantis Casino Resort has free parking and also offers a complimentary airport shuttle.
Swimming Pools - Atlantis has a glass enclosed indoor pool, plus an outdoor pool with a sundeck. There is also a sauna, whirlpool, and steam room.
Atlantis Health Spa, Salon & Fitness Center - sevices include massage therapy, skin care, facial
treatments, waxing, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, strength and cardio excercise equipment, certified
trainers, and more. The salon offer hair services, manicures, pedicures, and makeup.
Meetings & Events - 32,000 square feet with state of the art audio visual equipment and catering.

Entertainment @ Atlantis Resort
The Center Stage Cabaret, which is located on the casino floor, offers free live music Tuesday through Sunday evenings.
The Atlantis Grand Ballroom hosts the bigger shows such as famous comedians, concerts, and
other productions.
There is also a large Fun Center arcade with games and
a snack bar to keep the kiddies busy.

Atlantis' 32,000 square foot casino has a tropical theme with lots of indoor waterfalls,
trees, thatched roof huts, and neon (although the tropical nature of neon is elusive).
There are over 1400 slots (including over 300 penny slots) and
video poker machines, plus table games, a small but comfortable race and sports book, and a tobacco free poker room.
Besides the main floor, Atlantis also has several special areas. For example, the Sky Terrace, which
is smoke-free and located in the pedestrian walkway from the parking lot over Virginia Street,
has slot machines and a seafood bar in a space with natural lighting and mountain views.
Atlantis Casino has many tournaments and promotions. For example, there is
a weekly free KENO tournament (Thursday at 6PM), and free slot tournaments (Thursday and Friday from 12am to 7pm).
There is also a Wednesday Blackjack Tournament at 6 PM with a $20 buy-in, and daily Texas Hold'em tournaments.

Atlantis has eight dining spots, which range from casual to elegant. Most of their
restaurants run good specials. For example, a $7.99 T-Bone Steak dinner and $4.99 late
night steak and eggs are typical of the deals offered at the Purple Parrot coffee shop, and
you might find a two for one deal on the breakfast buffet during the week.

Monte Vigna Italian Ristorante features "Authentic
Tuscan country cuisine". The menu includes pasta (from about $11) and wood-fired meat entrees (from $17). MonteVigna, which has a 4,000 bottle
wine cellar, was a winner of Wine Spectator magazine's Award of Excellence.
- Atlantis Seafood Steakhouse, also an award winner, offers casual fine dining.
A recently renovated, 1,100 gallon salt-water
aquarium stands as the centerpiece of the restaurant and contains such species as Tesselata
eel, Hawaiian Huma Huma fish, Porcupine Puffer fish, Trigger fish and many others.
Besides steak and seafood, the menu also includes chicken, duck, veal, and lamb dishes (most entrees
are priced between $20 and $33).
- Toucan Charlie's Buffet and
Grille is pretty good. Special features include the made-to-order omelet station, Mongolian BBQ,
Asian Wok Station, Rotisserie Station, Southwestern Fajita Station, hand-carved prime rib,
and a Dessert and Pastry Bar.
- Café Alfresco, which was recently remodeled, features brick-oven pizzas (starting
at about $9), pasta (from $8), salads, sandwiches, and homemade gelato.
- Sky Terrace Oyster and Sushi Bars - As you approch the Sky Terrace (a smoke-free
casino with natural lighting that spans Virginia Street) you will probably smell the aroma of scampi and
fresh herbs emanating from the Oyster Bar. This is a very casual spot to enjoy simple seafood
favorites like pan roasts and stews, fish and chips, sushi plates, and shrimp cocktail, etc.
Most dishes are $10 to $20.
- The Purple Parrot is Atlantis's 24 hour coffee shop restaurant. They serve breakfast around the clock,
burgers, prime rib, sandwiches, salads, and other American fare.
There are also smaller places to pick up a quick bite to eat including
Java Coast Espresso Lounge and Pastry Bar and a snack bar in the Fun Center.
