Siena Hotel & Casino, Reno, NVOne of Reno's newest properties, the Siena is situated on the south shore of the Truckee River. The location, along with the resort's luxurious atmosphere, offers guests the best of two worlds: while the electrifying downtown casino area is only a short walk away, the serene river and wooded Riverwalk shields Siena from the hustle and bustle, so that patrons can enjoy a more intimate and relaxed stay if they desire it.
Siena's 185 rooms and 29 suites are well-appointed and range in size from 300 to 1200
square feet. Most have
river or mountain views, and they are considered among the most elegant and largest hotel rooms in the
Reno area.
Rooms feature custom fabrics, luxurious linens, down comforters, in-room safe, coffee maker, refrigerator,
complimentary
wireless and high-speed internet access, hairdryer, ironing board, a desk, and other conveniences. For even
more lavish accomodations, the Floor dei Nobili is a premium, all-suite area.
Siena Spa -
The Siena takes great pride in its spa and has made it an important aspect of the
experience. The spa consists of 11 therapy rooms for massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, as well
as a gym, pool and jacuzzi.
There are numerous relaxing treatments available including hydrotherapy and vinotherapy menus.
At 23,000 square feet, Siena's
Tuscan countryside themed casino is
smaller and more intimate compared to its rivals across the river.
Stone pillars, archways
and country frescos create the ancient Tuscan look and add a sense of warmth to the environment.
In contrast, the slots and video poker are very much up-to-date. Siena also has table games (Blackjack, Craps,
Roulette, Pai Gow, and Three Card Poker), and a small but comfortable Sport Book.
The Contrada Café, which is open 24 hours a day, is a casual restaurant. They serve breakfast (and everything else)
around the clock and have a large salad bar. Check out their daily chef's specials. This is also where you'll find a good,
inexpensive steak dinner. Other specialties include brick-oven pizzas, bbq meats, seafood, and pasta.
Lexie's is a contemporary Italian restaurant with an open kitchen and views of the Truckee River. They
specialize in fresh seafood and organic beef. They are open for dinner and Sunday Brunch.
Enoteca is named after the Italian word for "wine cellar". They offer 35 wines by the glass, plus a variety
of appetizers. Open Friday and Saturday evenings with live jazz.
