Review & Photos of Sands Regency, Reno, NV
The Sands Regency is located in downtown Reno. It is next to the railroad tracks, across the street from the old
Sundowner Casino, and three blocks from the Virginia Street casinos. The Greyhound bus station is inside the Sands.
The property has undergone some renovations. It is sort of a generic casino (themeless),
but is notable for the following: large cheap rooms, large outdoor swimming pool, 10x odds craps, $2 single deck blackjack,
Mel's Diner, and a few national restaurant chain outlets (Arby's, Pizza Hut, and Tony Roma's).
